caBastard (now caBst) was a former moderator and one of the current leaders of the Merchant Republic of West Rhodes and it successor the Rhodesian Confederation. caBastard is notable for being from Nicaragua. Ever since the 1.1 map, caBastard has kept a low profile due to the failure of his Mombasa-Project and his unjustified removal of moderation duties by admin tetete.

caBastard was also for a time a frequently posting tripfag on the website 4chan.

During the 1.8 map, caBastard lead much of the actions of the Merchant Republic of West Rhodes, shaping its policies, establishing alliances and pushing away rivals and enemies. After the 1.8 map, caBastard refused to establish a Rhodesian colony until jungles became available. By the time they did, caBst founded the Dominion of New Rhodes-Mombasa too far from other major civilizations. This was the main reason behind the failure of the New Rhodes-Mombasa project which eventually kept caBastard away from server politics.

In the pre-1.8 server, caBastard took a great role in the formation of the nations system and the Kurwan system. His contributions led him to be the first appointed advisor of Kurwa and the division of the city in districts. caBst built the first public government building and designed Kurwa's flag. As advisor of North Kurwa he later escalated to become a major Kurwan diplomat and politician. With his incorporation of Astonia and Frostbite as Kurwan Commonwealths, he founded the Kurwan Empire and became an Imperial Councilman together with v1adimirr and Rosenmann. caBst also took part in the first recorded battle of the server, losing against the Battkhort Expeditionary Force due to a technicality in war time rules that eventually led to the creation of the The International Rules of Engagement.
Before the creation of the 1.8 map, caBst left the Kurwan Empire to explore his options. Together with Lord_Uxbridge and Otto Von Bistarck, the Merchant Republic of West Rhodes was created and became a great success.

The exact amount is hold secret by the Royal Bank of New Rhodes but it is estimated to be between the 500 and 2000 diamonds and emeralds separately. caBastard's Tsvao Wool Company and his personal services as a political strategist and builder have earned him most of his wealth. caBastard is often referred to as Krautchan's Rockefeller.
